Goodcodecollects data about people who access its website. Data is collected, processed and used in accordance with the principles described below and in compliance with data protection laws.
Each time a user accesses the website and each time a file is consulted, data on this process is stored in a protocol file. Depending on the access protocol used, the data set has the following contents:
- IP address of the connecting computer

We process your personal data only in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. This means that we process user data only if there is a legal authorization, i.e. especially when the data processing is necessary or required by law to provide our contractual services (e.g., to process orders) and online services, there is a user authorization, but also on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e., the interest in the analysis, optimization and economic management and security of our online offering pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR, in particular in the measurement of the number of users reached, in profiling for advertising and marketing purposes and for the collection of access data and the use of the services of third-party providers.
We would like to inform you that the legal basis for the authorizations are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a. and Art. 7 GDPR, the legal basis for processing for the purpose of the provision of our services and the execution of contractual agreements is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. GDPR, the legal basis for processing for the purposes of fulfilling our legal obligations is Art. 6 para. 1 lett. c. GDPR and the legal basis for processing for the purpose of protecting our legitimate interests is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR.
The service provider within the meaning of the applicable legal regulations is Goodcode.
We take all up-to-date organizational, contractual and technical security measures to ensure that we comply with the regulations of data protection laws and that we protect the data we process against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons.

When contacting us (via form or email), the user's data is processed in order to be able to process contact requests and their execution in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR.
The personal data you provide to Goodcode as part of your request and/or order is processed for the purposes of the order process, any other paperwork, and the management of your warranty, services, and administration. In addition, they may be processed for marketing and market research purposes.
The user may revoke at any time the consent to collect, process, use and transmit his data to third parties by written communication addressed to Goodcode GmbH, Via Cantonale 4, CH-6928 Manno, or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The revocation does not affect the legitimacy of the treatment carried out from the moment of consent to the revocation.

Temporary cookies are automatically deleted when the user closes the browser. This mainly concerns session cookies, which store a so-called session ID, to which several requests of the user's browser made in the same session can be associated. Session cookies are deleted when the user logs out or closes the browser.
Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a different predefined period depending on the type of cookie. Goodcode uses this type of cookie to improve the usability of the page by storing user-specific settings.
Third-party cookies are cookies set and created by third parties. Goodcode uses this type of cookie for advertising purposes.
In the event of activation of IP anonymization on Goodcode's website, the IP address of the Google user will be shortened within Switzerland or the Member States of the European Union or the other states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area (depending on the counterfactual situation). Only in exceptional cases will the IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA in its full form and shortened there. Google uses this information on behalf of Goodcode in order to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services connected with website and Internet use to Goodcode as operator of the website.
The IP address transmitted from the user's browser by Google Analytics is not associated with other Google data. Goodcode informs you that, on this website, Google Analytics has been extended with the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" to enable anonymized detection of IP addresses (so-called "IP masking").
